You can’t have a testimony without a test.
When I moved into my one-bedroom apartment August 2019 with nothing more than my clothes, my 180 lb. Great Dane, a few personal belongings, and 5k I borrowed, I wondered how I was going to survive.
It was the hardest time of my life. No one was coming to save me. I felt alone, stranded and scared for the first time in my life.
I slept, I cried, I journaled, I prayed, I slept some more, I felt sorry for myself, I worked and I listened to the silence.
In the silence was a little tiny voice that kept prompting me to see the blessings in my situation, to be grateful, not hateful and to pick myself up and move forward.
I didn’t spend the evenings watching tv, going out with friends and dating.
Instead, I spent my nights listening, over and over, to motivational speakers, as well as I read and listened to great books. I listened to The Obstacle is the Way, by Ryan Holiday at least a half dozen times.
Day by day, my mindset became stronger, my will to turn my setback into a comeback grew within me. My determination to succeed grew strong and with each new step I took, I began to see a glimmer of hope, as I looked for ways to rebuild my life.
As I began sharing my journey on Instagram, women from all around the globe started reaching out to me for advice on how they too can become strong, healthy, confident and beautiful. And that’s why I have created my website and now, my online course and private community.
